La première fois que je l'ai vu, je l'ai prise pour quelqu'un d'autre que j'avais rencontrer durant ma vie vampirique et puis j'ai vite compris que je me trompais à la mine qu'elle affichait. Alors j'ai fait quelques recherches rapides et j'ai découvert que Danae était une descendante de Brunhilde, une sorcière que j'avais rencontré quelques temps après ma transformation. Celle-ci m'avait beaucoup aidé. D'ailleurs, ma bague qui me permet de me rendre au soleil était un de ses cadeaux.

Qui était cette Katherine dont j'entendais parler autour de moi. J'étais curieuse de connaître le passé de cette vampire, surtout que celui-ci était lié à Nik', mais pourquoi ? Je suis allée à sa rencontre. Pas facile de la trouver, mais quand on a mon âge c'est tout de suite plus facile de se faire respecter par un vampire plus jeune. La traque fut compliquée, mais quand je l'ai trouvé, je lui ai fait comprendre que je ne lui ferais pas de mal, que j'étais seulement curieuse de connaître Katherina Petrova. Son histoire m'a quelque peu touchée, elle ne méritait certainement pas ce qui lui est arrivé. J'essaierais d'intercéder en sa faveur auprès de Nik' quand j'aurais réussit à le retrouver. Qui sait, ça marchera peut-être ?
